"Robocop, past or future?": Trends in robotics within the field of security

A future without robots is unthinkable. Jos de Lange, coordinator security innovation & investigations at the Technical University of Delft, will answer the question on how robots will influence the field of security.

By taking a look to the trends for industrial robot application in the field of safety for instance, new developments can be quickly acknowledged, which may offer solutions on security issues. Consequently, this will raise the question whether it will be a positive development and what will be the ethical consequences of it.

Edwin Lustig of Robot Security Systems will present their security robot Sam.
